Award Process
The Awards of Excellence follow a transparent, structured process designed to ensure fairness, consistency, and credibility.
1. Nominations Open June 24 – August 14
Nominations are open to all insurance industry participants, including brokers, insurers, and relevant partners. Each category includes clear eligibility requirements and standardized submission questions.
2. Eligibility Review August 17 – August 21
All submissions are reviewed by the IBAO staff and Awards Committee to confirm eligibility, completeness, and alignment with category requirements.
3. Judging Panel Evaluation August 24 – September 4
A diverse panel of judges independently evaluates each submission using a standardized scoring framework. Judges declare conflicts of interest and recuse themselves where required.
4. Finalist Selection September 8
Scores are compiled to determine the top finalists in each category.
5. Winner Determination September 15
Judges participate in a structured deliberation process to confirm winners based on scoring, evidence, and category alignment.
6. Winners Announced October 21
Award recipients are revealed live at the IBAO Awards of Excellence Gala.
